Sexual Responsibility
The University of Texas at Tyler considers the health and safety of its students to be of the utmost importance and encourages the sexual health and well being of its students by providing health education programming.
Sexual Responsibility Education Covers topics such as:
• Abstinence
•Communication
•Consent
•Healthy Relationships
•Safer Sex
•STDs/ STIs
•Vaccines
•and Others
Sexual Health Education includes information on the prevention of sexually transmitted infections (Such as HIV) and unwanted pregnancy through abstinence and contraception. The distribution of condoms as a means of preventing the spread of sexually transmitted infections is a component of this program. Condoms are available upon request at the University Health Clinic and the Herrington Patriot Center main office.
