Social Media at UT Tyler
Setting up Social Media
If your department currently has a social media site representing The University of Texas at Tyler in any way, please follow the following steps:
- Review the UT Tyler Social Media guidelines.
two administrators from your area set up for your Facebook site and add the UT Tyler Webmaster as an administrator to your page: Robin Kelly email@example.com.
- If it is not possible to have two administrators from your department to represent your FB page, contact Robin for consultation.
- Please follow the steps to set up the application/page for your Facebook page to install the UT Tyler Social Media Policy. If you do need assistance with setting up your policy page, contact Robin Kelly for assistance.
- Once you have completed these steps, email firstname.lastname@example.org and include the name of your Facebook page along with names and emails of your Facebook administrator.
These steps should be completed by April 15, 2011.
