Statement of Purpose/Organization Description: The purpose of the Pre-Med Pre-Dent Association (PMPD) at The University of Texas at Tyler is to inform pre-professional students of the opportunities that are available in health care and to provide the experiences and the information that is necessary in order to help those students become better candidates for medical or dental school and better health care professionals for the future.
