Statement of Purpose/Organization Description: We, the students of color currently matriculate at The University of Texas at Tyler do hereby charter the college chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) to aid in the successful transition of our students into capable knowledgeable citizens and to ensure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights of all persons and to eliminate race-based discrimination.
