Statement of Purpose/Organization Description: The UT Tyler chapter of the Financial Management Association (FMA) is a professional student organization designed to promote the scholarship and professional advancement of Finance majors.  We also welcome students who have an interest in finance, banking, and investments, even if you they not plan to major in finance.  Our primary focus is to organize and engage in activities that enhance the professional acumen of finance students.  Our secondary focus is to engage in social service and advance the interests of our community.  We are an active professional organization, this local chapter being a part of the larger international organization.
