UT Tyler Cowan Center Announces Additional Blue Man Group Performances

The University of Texas at Tyler R. Don Cowan Center has added two more performances of the Blue Man Group, Susan Thomae-Morphew, executive director, announced.

Sponsored by Mary and Bob Irwin, Tim and Michelle Brookshire and Colonial Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Blue Man Group will take stage at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, Feb. 28 – March 1.

Media sponsors are KETK, KTBB, KNUE and Fox 51.

Tickets are $67, $62, $57, $52, $37 and can be purchased online at www.cowancenter.org, by phone at 903.566.7424 or at the box office. Box office hours are 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and one hour prior to the concert.

“Having three performances of Blue Man Group gives us the opportunity to share this unique indescribable show with more East Texans. This is their first nationwide tour to proscenium theatres, so we feel fortunate to grab it straight out of the gate. It is especially fun for the younger generation, so make a point to bring the family,” said Thomae-Morphew.

Blue Man Group presents a phenomenal high-octane theatrical experience. Audiences will escape the ordinary and be surrounded in an explosion of comedy, music and technology, she added.
