Dr. Rick Worland, professor of cinema and television at Southern Methodist University, will present “Bloody Artful: The Cinematic Style of 'Let the Right One In' an International Horror Film” Thursday, Oct. 20 at The University of Texas at Tyler, Dr. Jill Blondin, Center for Global Education director, announced.

The public lecture will be 3 p.m. in the University Center theater.

Worland holds a Ph.D. and master of arts in theater arts from the University of California in Los Angeles. His professional memberships include Society for Cinema and Media Studies and University Film and Video Association.
