The University of Texas at Tyler will hold a Constitution Day ceremony noon Friday, Sept. 16 in the University Center theater to commemorate the signing of the United States Constitution.

Dr. James Newsom, UT Tyler senior lecturer in history, will present “George Washington: The Man Who Wouldn’t be King.”

Daughters and Sons of the American Revolution members, dressed in period attire, also will give performances.
