UT Tyler Announces Marley P. Styner Scholarship for Palestine Campus

The University of Texas at Tyler has established the Marley P. Styner Endowed Scholarship to benefit future teachers, President Rodney H. Mabry, announced.
Through a gift from Martha Styner, the scholarship will be awarded to qualified students of the UT Tyler Palestine Campus who are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies with teacher certification.
“We sincerely thank Martha Styner for her generosity. This gift will certainly help deserving students in the Anderson County area continue their education,” said Jerre Iversen, vice president for university advancement.
The UT Tyler Palestine Campus also offers bachelor’s degree courses in business administration, health and kinesiology and nursing. Master’s degrees in business administration and nursing are available online.
