With music by Marvin Hamlisch, “A Chorus Line” is the musical for everyone who’s ever had a dream and put it all on the line. Winner of nine Tony Awards®, including Best Musical and the Pulitzer Prize for drama, this singular sensation is the longest-running American Broadway musical.
“When ‘A Chorus Line’ took the Broadway stage in 1975, it was an unprecedented box office and critical hit. Every dancer across the globe felt that someone on that ‘line’ was telling their story,” said Thomae-Morphew. “Dancers share their lives with the director in hopes of getting the job. The music and the dance weave the audition into an unforgettable evening. This is its first showing in Tyler.”
