The University of Texas at Tyler will hold 2010 Homecoming Oct. 18 – 23, Ona Tolliver, assistant vice president for student affairs and dean of students, announced.

“Coming Home Again” events include:

Wednesday, Oct. 20

• 2 p.m. Harvey Lake: Patriot Paddle canoe races.

Thursday, Oct. 21

• 7 – 10 p.m. University Center Auditorium: Patriot Idol singing competition featuring UT Tyler students.

Friday, Oct. 22

• 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. Ornelas Activity Center: Distinguished Alumni Luncheon.

• 5:30 p.m. Irwin Field - Baseball Complex: Patriot Tailgate Party.

• 6:30 p.m. Irwin Field - Baseball Complex: Faculty/Staff vs. Students and Alumni Softball Game.

Saturday, Oct. 23

• 1:30 p.m. Soccer Field: Homecoming Carnival/Patriot Alley opens.

• UT Tyler women’s soccer game at 2 p.m., followed by men’s soccer game at 4 p.m.

• 6:30 p.m. Intramural Field (corner of Old Omen Road and University Blvd.) Suddenlink, CBS 19 and UT Tyler present “Concert on the Boulevard” featuring Bailey Grey with special guest Midnight River Choir.
