Beginning this fall, The University of Texas at Tyler Offices of Graduate Admissions and Career Services will offer UT Tyler students, faculty and staff access to Going Global, a leading provider of career and employment resources for evaluating, selecting and transitioning into a successful career in foreign countries and the United States.
“Our international students will benefit greatly from Going Global’s collection of H1B visa employer listings, and all our students will be pleased with the over 600,000 worldwide job and internship openings,” said Dr. Alecia Wolf, director of graduate admissions.
Opportunities are posted for major multi-national companies and are updated daily.
Going Global offers professional advice on such topics including the current employment outlook, hiring trends, job search resources, executive recruiters, staffing agencies, work permit regulations, salary ranges, resume/vita writing guidelines, professional and social networking groups, trade associations and cultural advice.
The UT Tyler Office of Career Services offers workshops on writing resumes and cover letters, job searching and networking, etiquette and salary negotiation.
