2010 Advanced Placement Summer Institute at UT Tyler
The 2010 Advanced Placement Summer Institute for middle and secondary school teachers will be Aug. 2 – 6 at The University of Texas at Tyler, Dr. John Lamb, assistant professor of education and AP Institute director, announced.
Hosted by the UT Tyler Ingenuity Center; UT Tyler East Texas Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Center; Tyler Junior College; and Tyler Independent School District, the 32-hour institute offers Pre-AP and AP certification training in 13 courses.
Cost is $450 before Friday, July 2 and $500 after July 2. Registration information may be found at www.uttyler.edu/ap. Registration deadline is Friday, July 23.

- AP Biology
- AP Calculus
- AP Chemistry
- AP English Language
- AP English Literature
- AP U.S. History
- AP U.S. Government and Politics
- Pre-AP English (High School)
- Pre-AP English (Middle School)
- Pre-AP Math (High School)
- Pre-AP Math (Middle School)
- Pre-AP Science (Middle School)
- Pre-AP Social Studies (Middle School)
Attendance at all sessions is mandatory to earn a certificate of completion.
