MEDIA ADVISORY: UT Tyler 2010 East Texas Psychology Research Conference

The University of Texas at Tyler 2010 East Texas Psychology Research Conference will be 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Saturday, April 24 at the University Center Ballroom, room 224, Dr. Dennis Combs, UT Tyler associate professor of psychology, announced.

Special guests include Dr. Eddie Harmon-Jones from Texas A&M University and Dr. David Roberts from Yale University.

Co-sponsors include UT Tyler Department of Psychology and Counseling, UT Tyler Office of Sponsored Research and the J. Burns Brown Fellowship.

Tentative Schedule:

• 8:30 a.m. Conference registration and breakfast.
• 9:30 a.m. Opening remarks, Dr. Charles Barke (Bar-kay), UT Tyler Department of Psychology and Counseling chair.
• 10 a.m. Keynote address.
• 11:15 a.m. – 12:25 p.m. Presentations.
• 12:30 p.m. Poster session and lunch (Poster judging during lunch).
• 1:35 p.m. – 2:45 p.m. Presentations.
• 3 p.m. Keynote address.
• 4 p.m. Closing remarks.
