HOMETOWN RELEASE: The Woodlands Resident Places Second in National Competition Representing UT Tyler Patriot Dancers

Riplee Ganaway of The Woodlands, a junior at The University of Texas at Tyler, placed second in the 2010 American Dance and Drill Nationals Competition as a member of the UT Tyler Patriot Dancers dance group.

They competed against six other schools in the same division. Overall, 16 colleges and universities attended this year.

Formed in 2006, the group performs at all home basketball games, Patriot Preview Days and Homecoming. This is their first competition to attend.
