NEWS TIP: UT Tyler Students Help Build Habitat for Humanity Home

Patriots Serving Our Community students, with the home owner, Victoria Ferguson and Rand Huzenlab, director of volunteer services.
The University of Texas at Tyler is assisting Habitat for Humanity of Smith County to help build a Habitat Home at 2732 DePriest in Tyler.
Members of UT Tyler Patriots Serving Our Community student organization, Delta Gamma sorority, women's golf team, men's soccer team and construction management students volunteered earlier this month.
On-site construction began Nov. 7.
This is the latest effort by the university to assist the non-profit organization, which provides safe and affordable shelter to low-income families.
