MEDIA ADVISORY: Pianist Michael Gurt in Concert at UT Tyler

Internationally-renowned pianist Michael Gurt will perform a public concert at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9 at The University of Texas at Tyler Braithwaite Recital Hall.

The program will feature music composed by Scarlatti, Reger, Albeniz and Chopin. Winner of the Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition, Gurt has made symphony and solo appearances in the United States and around the world.

On Tuesday, Nov. 10, Gurt also will hold a 9 a.m. master class for UT Tyler students at the hall.
