MEDIA ADVISORY: Berman to Present Resolution to UT Tyler Softball Team

State Representative Leo Berman will present the UT Tyler Patriots softball team and head coach Mike Reed with an official copy of Texas House Resolution 2275 honoring the team for this season’s accomplishments.

The ceremony will take place on Thursday, June 4, 2009 at 10 a.m. at the UT Tyler Softball Field.

The resolution was authored by Representatives Berman, Tommy Merritt, Byron Cook, Bryan Hughes and Chuck Hopson.

HR 2775 honors the Patriots for achieving a record of 39-10, winning the American Southwest Conference championship, winning the West Regional and advancing to the NCAA Division III College World Series.
