MEDIA ADVISORY: UT Tyler Choir Ensembles Hold Spring Concert

The University of Texas at Tyler Patriot Singers and University Chorale will present a spring concert Sunday, May 3 at First Presbyterian Church in Tyler, Dr. Cameron Rose, UT Tyler director of choral activities, announced.

The public concert, “Saints, Sonnets and Spirituals,” begins at 5 p.m.

“The concert, which is the groups’ final concert of the academic year, features beautiful music set to the poetry of William Shakespeare, Robert Burns and Walt Whitman, together with energetic spirituals and moving anthems,” Rose said.
