UT Tyler Names New Admissions Counselors
Kenza El Amrani, Amelia Harrell and Elton Sànchez have joined The University of Texas at Tyler Office of Admissions team as admissions counselors, Sarah Bowdin, director of admissions, announced.
As admissions counselors at UT Tyler, they will process applications, meet with prospective students to discuss admission requirements and recruit for the university.
El Amrani holds a bachelor of science in computer science and a master of business administration, both from UT Tyler. While a UT Tyler student, she was an active member of VIPatriots, Computer Science Organization, Financial Students Organization and International Students Organization.
Harrell holds a bachelor of arts degree in sociology from Centenary College, where she was involved in several campus activities including Greek Life, Student Government, orientation and choral music. She also was a member of the Centenary College swim team.
Sànchez holds a bachelor of arts degree in Spanish from Texas State University. While at Texas State, he was involved in the Sigma Lambda Beta Fraternity, Multicultural Greek Council, Student Foundation and the student organization, Hombres Unidos, which he founded. He was nominated to Who’s Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities several incidences throughout his undergraduate career.
