HOMETOWN RELEASE: Artwork by Longview Resident to be Featured in UT Tyler Exhibition

Edward Pamplin of Longview is one of six seniors at The University of Texas at Tyler who will display artwork in thesis exhibition at the UT Tyler Meadows Gallery, Ray Sikes, Meadows Gallery coordinator, announced.

The exhibit, which features work by senior art students who are bachelor of fine art degree candidates this semester, will run Dec. 1 – 19. Gallery talks begin at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2 and Thursday, Dec. 4, with a “Meet the Artists” reception to be held 6 – 7:30 p.m. Dec. 4.

Pamplin, an Alpha Chi Honor Society member and the university’s club Anthropology ROCKS, enjoys artistic expression through non-objective painting. 

The Meadows Gallery is located in the UT Tyler R. Don Cowan Fine and Performing Arts Center.
Gallery hours are 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, during regular semesters and by special appointment.
