MEDIA ADVISORY: Mabry to Speak at Palestine Rotary

The University of Texas at Tyler President Rodney H. Mabry will be a guest speaker at the Palestine Rotary at noon Wednesday, Oct. 29.

President Mabry will share the program with Texas Lieutenant Governor David Dewhurst.

The upcoming plans for the UT Tyler Palestine Campus will be discussed and the status of the Paving the Way fundraising campaign will be announced.

The campaign, which began in 2007, has raised $2.2 million of its $2.5 million goal that will aid in the construction of a new building for the Palestine campus.
