MEDIA ADVISORY: Mount Vernon Music Group to Perform at UT Tyler

The Mount Vernon Music group will present a free concert Monday, Sept. 29 at The University of Texas at Tyler’s Braithwaite Recital Hall.

Performing at the 7:30 p.m. concert will be Mount Vernon Music co-founders, Mark and Ute Miller, concertmaster and principal violist of the East Texas Symphony Orchestra; pianist Joel Schoenhals from Eastern Michigan University; Dallas Symphony Orchestra cellist Jolyon Pegis; and former DSO violinist Kristin Jutras.

Mount Vernon Music is a non-profit organization formed in 2006 to further the performance of classical and other fine music in rural East Texas.
