MEDIA ADVISORY: UT Tyler Cancels Martin Short Performance Due to Weather

The performance of Martin Short has been cancelled due to the unsafe conditions that are predicted with the arrival of Hurricane Ike.

Refunds for the Martin Short event will be available to the purchaser Monday, Sept. 15 through Friday Sept. 26.

Persons who charged the ticket by credit card can call for a refund. Persons who paid with cash or check must come to the box office during normal business hours, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., Sept. 15 - 26 for a refund.

“The Cowan Center Circle members gala will be rescheduled in conjunction with a different performance. Members will receive a new invitation when that date is determined. We thank everyone for your understanding,” said Susan Thomae-Morphew, UT Tyler Cowan Center director.
