MEDIA ADVISORY: UT Tyler to Hold Labor Day Weekend Activities for Residential Students

The University of Texas at Tyler will hold special Labor Day weekend activities for residential students Aug. 29 – Sept. 1, Jameson Adams, recreational sports program coordinator, announced.

UT Tyler’s Labor Day Weekend Extravaganza will include basketball, volleyball and ultimate Frisbee. A picnic at Harvey Lake on campus will conclude the extravaganza. 

“The recreational sports staff would like to provide the residential students a fun, exciting Labor Day Weekend,” said Adams. “Our plan is to highlight upcoming programming that will be available to the student body through the fall semester during these special events as well."
