UT Tyler Meadows Gallery to Open Studio Art Faculty Exhibition Aug. 25
The University of Texas at Tyler Meadows Gallery will hold the 2008 Studio Art Faculty Exhibition Aug. 25 – Oct. 3, Ray Sikes, Meadows Gallery coordinator, announced.
This year’s exhibition features work by the following art faculty within the Department of Art and Art History: Sue Duran, Gary C. Hatcher, Dewane Hughes, Philana Oliphant, James R. Pace, Alexis Serio, Sikes and Merrie Wright.
An opening reception will be 6 – 7:30 p.m. Aug. 29 at the gallery. The university community and general public are invited to attend.
Special lectures presented by each artist will be announced at a later date.
The Meadows Gallery is located in the UT Tyler R. Don Cowan Fine and Performing Arts Center. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday or by appointment, 903.566.7250.
