UT Tyler Names New Greek Coordinator
Brittany Temple has been named the Greek coordinator for the Office of Student Development at The University of Texas at Tyler, David Hill, interim director of student development, announced.
Temple, who began her appointment June 9, succeeds Lamar Bryant, who served as the student development specialist overseeing fraternity and sorority affairs. She comes to UT Tyler after serving as a graduate assistant for campus programs at Baylor University.
As UT Tyler’s Greek coordinator, Temple will serve as an adviser to all Greek organizations. She will coordinate Greek recruitment as well as conduct educational workshops and training activities for the Greek community on campus. She also will assist with other programs through the student development office, Hill added.
“Brittany comes to us with a great deal of practical experience with Greek organizations,” said Hill. “We are fortunate to have someone with Brittany’s background, experience and enthusiasm for Greek life to help our Greek program as it grows.”
Temple holds a bachelor of arts degree in speech communication and music and a master of science degree in student affairs administration, both from Baylor University.
