HOMETOWN RELEASE: Flower Mound Resident Assisting with Nursing Research at UT Tyler
Chelsea Brown of Flower Mound is assisting with nursing research at The University of Texas at Tyler, Dr. Linda Klotz, College of Nursing and Health Sciences dean, announced.
A UT Tyler freshman nursing major, Brown serves as a research assistant with Dr. Jackie McVey, associate clinical professor, and Dr. Sue Thompson, associate professor.
Brown also assists other faculty on collaborative research, including studies on student success, role transitions, nurse faculty retention, cultural competencies in health care and nurse empowerment in small and rural hospitals.
