MEDIA ADVISORY: UT Tyler Music Department Presents Vocal Master Class

The University of Texas at Tyler music department will present a vocal master class by metropolitan opera tenor Anthony Laciura on Feb. 11, Dr. Molly Johnson, UT Tyler assistant professor of music, announced.

The master class, which is free and open to the public, will be 3 – 5 p.m. in the UT Tyler Braithwaite Recital Hall.

A New Orleans native, Laciura has spent 26 years with the Metropolitan Opera. He teaches stage craft classes for The Martina Arroyo Foundation in New York City and is on the faculty of New Jersey City University as adjunct professor of voice.
