UT Tyler Associate Professor Elected to International Board
Dr. Greg Wang, associate professor of human resource development at The University of Texas at Tyler, was elected to the Academy of Human Resource Development Board of Directors, Dr. Jim Tarter, UT Tyler College of Business and Technology dean, announced.
"By participating in this leadership role on the board, I have an opportunity to contribute to UT Tyler’s reputation as an academic leader and to make a difference for the human resource development discipline,” said Wang, who was elected by an inclusive national and international human resource development community of scholars.
The Academy of Human Resource Development is a premier global research organization with the vision of leading the human resource development profession through research. The academy holds conferences around the United States, Europe and Asia each year. As a board member, Wang will help shape the leadership agenda for the human resource development profession.
He will serve a three-year term.
Wang holds a Ph.D. in human resource development from Pennsylvania State University. His specializations include HRD measurement and evaluation, HRD theory building and international HRD.
