HOMETOWN RELEASE: Chandler Area Residents Recognized at UT Tyler Commencement

Nine Chandler area residents were among 651 degree candidates recognized by The University of Texas at Tyler in fall commencement ceremonies held Dec. 14 and 15.

Chandler area residents and their degrees are:

BROWNSBORO – Tiffani L. Chastant, M.S., neuropsychology; Megan Leigh Hargett, B.S.I.S. and Cassidy Kirkpatrick, B.S., kinesiology; and Lisa January, Michael K Shepler and James Brian West, B.S., nursing.

CHANDLER – Paul Turner Roberson, B.S., criminal justice; and Michael D. Pope, B.B.A., accounting.

EDOM – Kenneth Elerson, B.A., psychology.

President Rodney H. Mabry gave commencement remarks and certified the degree candidates. Presentations of degree candidates were made by the deans of each of the university’s colleges.
