MEDIA ADVISORY: Convocation to Open UT Tyler's 2007-08 Academic Year
August 17, 2007

Dr. Rodney H. Mabry, President of The University of Texas at Tyler, will deliver his state of the university address at the 2007-08 convocation on Aug. 20.


Convocation will begin at 8:30 a.m. in UT Tyler’s R. Don Cowan Fine and Performing Arts Center.


Officials will introduce new faculty members, and faculty and service awards also will be presented.
