Work is currently underway to enhance the main entrance at The University of Texas at Tyler.

Improvements will include a new one-way entrance and one-way exit that will form a loop to and from the UT Tyler Administration Building, University Center and Herrington Patriot Center parking lots. With weather permitting, the project will be completed by the beginning of the fall 2007 semester this August.

“The new entrance will allow for improved traffic flow onto campus which will improve safety and will also enhance the aesthetic quality of entering the campus,” said Gregg Lassen (Las-sin), UT Tyler vice president for business affairs.
