Lamar Bryant has been named to The University of Texas at Tyler student development staff, Mindy Sutton, UT Tyler director of student development, announced.
As a student development specialist at the university, Bryant’s main focus will be to develop and incorporate expansions to Greek life on campus. The university introduced Greek life a year ago. He also will assist with various projects in student activities and freshman orientation.
“I’m really excited because there is so much opportunity here,” said Bryant. “I’m privileged to be a part of this university and will hopefully leave a legacy for years to come as a result of hard work and dedication to this department and university. I look forward to my future here, and I am excited about embarking on a career at The University of Texas at Tyler.”
Bryant previously served as a graduate advisor in the office of Greek life at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, La. He holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration and a master of arts degree in student personnel services, both from Northwestern State University.
