The University of Texas at Tyler’s Patriot Singers will perform the annual musical theatre revue, Thursday, April 19 and Sunday, April 22, at the UT Tyler R. Don Cowan Fine and Performing Arts Center, Dr. Mark Johnson, UT Tyler assistant professor of music, announced.
Performances begin at 7:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. on those days, respectfully.
“This year’s program titled, Bernstein on Broadway, features the music of one of the most famous of all American composers, Maestro Leonard Bernstein,” Johnson said.
The ensemble will perform selections from Bernstein’s musicals including On the Town, Trouble in Tahiti and West Side Story.
Johnson serves as stage and musical director and Renee Allen as choreographer.
The revue is free and open to the public.
