The University of Texas at Tyler will hold a reception for two Korean teachers visiting Tyler public schools in an exchange program organized by the Texas International Education Consortium.
           
The reception will be at 4 p.m. Feb. 7 at UT Tyler.
           
Jeong Myoung Joo (Michelle) and Gwak Myeong Jin (Amy) participate in the Fulbright American Studies Institute for Korean Secondary School Teachers of English and will visit Tyler ISD’s Hubbard and Dogan Middle Schools.
           
Host teachers will be Sandy Varner of Hubbard and Toby Wahl of Dogan.
           
UT Tyler is facilitating the school site residency placement with TISD.
           
While visiting Michelle and Amy will observe class activities, cultural presentations, visit English as a second language classes and meet with various teachers.
