Spotlight: Paula Lundberg-Love, Andrew Schmitt

Dr. Paula Lundberg-Love, professor of psychology, served as one of three co-editors on a four-book set titled “Women and Mental Disorders,” which was recently released.

She also authored one chapter titled “Sexual Abuse of Girls and the Lasting Effects” with assistance from alumnus Wes Parks of Dallas and graduate student Desiree Glaze of Tyler.

As co-editor, Love invited Dr. Andrew Schmitt, associate professor of psychology, to co-author a chapter.

Schmitt’s student co-authors were Meagan Pagitt of Athens and Simone Bras Hua of Skaneateles, N.Y.

The set, published by ABC-CLIO, Praeger/Greenwood division, discusses psychological disorders from the perspective of the women who develop them.
