Coordinating Board Seeking UT Tyler Student Representatives

The Governor’s office has requested the nominations of two UT Tyler students to serve as student representatives on the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, Tiffany Allison, UT Tyler Student Government Association president, announced.

Elected students will meet periodically in Austin with other UT System representatives to discuss higher education in the state. Applications are available online at www.uttyler.edu/sga.

The available positions are:

• Student Representative to the Coordinating Board (one-year term)
• Student Representative to an Advisory Committee (two-year term)

Student representatives must be in good academic standing and maintain at least a 2.5 GPA.

Submission deadline is 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31.
