UT Tyler to Hold Constitution Day Ceremony

UT Tyler will hold a Constitution Day ceremony at noon Friday, Sept. 16 in the University Center theater to commemorate the signing of the United States Constitution, Ona Tolliver, assistant vice president for student affairs and dean of students, announced.

Dr. James Newsom, senior lecturer in history, will present “George Washington: The Man Who Wouldn’t be King.”

Daughters and Sons of the American Revolution members, dressed in period attire, also will give performances.
