The first cohort of GATE students was introduced during the Aug. 25 event in the University Center theater. Guest speaker Jane Spalding also discussed “Internationalization: Beyond Good Intentions.”
GATE is a two-year residential learning program designed for incoming freshmen where students live together, take enhanced core curriculum classes and participate in on- and off-campus activities that are globally engaging and culturally diverse.
