Spotlight: Dana Adams

Dr. Dana Adams, senior lecturer in English, recently supported a local reception with his artistry skills.

At a donor’s reception and piano concert July 23 at the Liberty Theater downtown, East Texas Symphony Orchestra gave certain donors a framed watercolor print of his painting of the Liberty Theater, now called Liberty Hall.

The City of Tyler and ETSO jointly commissioned the painting. It is one of a series of 12 paintings he has completed for Heart of Tyler.

Adams holds a Ph.D. from the University of North Texas and a master’s degree from UT Tyler.
