UT Tyler Recognizes Dr. Keith McCoy

University and community officials recognized Dr. Keith McCoy (right) during his public retirement reception April 21 in the UT Tyler R. Don Cowan Fine and Performing Arts Center White Lobby.

McCoy, a professor of health and kinesiology at UT Tyler, is the last teaching charter member of Tyler State College, the institution which became UT Tyler in 1979.

He also is the founder and director of the UT Tyler Center for Ethics since 2008 and served as Department of Health and Kinesiology chair for 23 years.
