Spotlight: Jacob Oliver

Biology and chemistry major Jacob Oliver of Terrell was selected as a Joint Admission Medical Program student by its admissions committee this spring, Dr. James Koukl, JAMP faculty director, announced.
To qualify, students must score at or greater than the state mean on the SAT/ACT, be Pell Grant eligible and must have and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.25 or above during their undergraduate work.
JAMP was created during the 77th Texas Legislature in order to encourage highly qualified but economically disadvantaged students enhanced access to medical training programs within the state.
