New KIC Station at UT Tyler Muntz Library

University nursing students Dulce Valencia of Ennis and Justine Grado of El Paso utilize the new Knowledge Image Center in the UT Tyler Robert R. Muntz Library.

The Muntz Library has acquired a ‘user-friendly,’ walk-up KIC scanning station through a gift from the Louis and Peaches Owen Family Foundation, Jeanne Pyle, Muntz Library director, announced.

The station, for public usage at no charge, scans documents and images – in color or black and white – which then can be saved to a thumb drive or emailed.

“This gift from the Louis and Peaches Family Foundation directly benefits the students of UT Tyler. We’re thankful for their support,” Pyle said.
