UT Tyler to Host International Math Conference March 17 – 19

UT Tyler will host the 45th annual Spring Topology and Dynamical Systems Conference, Dr. Sheldon Davis, Department of Mathematics chair, announced.

The conference will be March 17 – 19 in the UT Tyler Ratliff Engineering and Science Complex.

About 200 researchers and mathematicians from 17 countries are expected to attend. A portion of Parking Lot 8 will be reserved for conference participants. Some classes in the complex will be relocated during this time, Davis added.

“This is one of the longest running series in mathematics, and it attracts people from around the world,” he said. “UT Tyler is probably the smallest school to be awarded this conference. I want to personally thank all the many people who have helped me bring this conference to our campus.”
