Marketing and Communications Welcomes James Mbewe

James Mbewe has joined the UT Tyler Office of Marketing and Communications as its Web developer.

Mbewe has worked as a technician in UT Tyler Educational Technology Services since October 2009.

As the Web developer with Marketing and Communications, he will develop and program web-based and feature-rich web applications, as well as develop and design databases and stored procedures to support web applications.

He also will assist with the development of interactive and dynamic Web sites and monitor the performance of Web sites after implementation.

Mbewe holds a bachelor of science degree in computer science from UT Tyler, as well as an associate degree from Navarro College.

Through his business, Master Design Solutions, he previously developed and managed clients’ web sites, databases and promotional videos. He also created a web-based help desk application at ETS.
