Nursing doctoral student Amy Johnson of Tyler attended the first American Association College of Nursing Student Policy Summit in Washington, D.C.

“The policy summit was amazing,” Johnson said. “I learned a lot by being in D.C., visiting Capitol Hill with Texas deans and going through the process of visiting with the staff of Texas senators and representatives.”
