Office of Enrollment Services Seeking Volunteers for Communications Center

The UT Tyler Office of Enrollment Services is seeking volunteers to answer calls in the Admissions Communications Center during spring 2011 registration.

Volunteers will staff the phones in the center, which is located in the University Services Center, room 142. Where possible, time periods up to four hours are needed during the following dates:

• Jan. 6 – 7

• Jan. 10 – 14

• Jan. 18 – 19

To sign-up, create an appointment on your own Outlook calendar and add Admissions Signup as a ’room.’

Instructions for Microsoft Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2010:

1) Open Microsoft Outlook

2) Go to Calendar

3) Double-click on the time slot that you want to sign up (3 – 4 hours is requested)

4) Enter your Name in the Subject line

5) Click Scheduling assistant

6) Click Add Rooms

7) When the list of rooms pops up, double-click AdmissionsSignup and click OK

8) Click Save and Close

Instructions for Outlook Web Access:

1) Open Internet Explorer

2) Go to Calendar

3) Double-click on the time slot that you want to sign up

4) Enter your Name in the Subject line

5) Click Scheduling assistant

6) Click the triangle next to Select Rooms

7) Select More…

8) Double-click AdmissionsSignup on the list and click OK

9) Click Save and Close
