Close working relationships with schools and agencies in the East Texas region provide numerous opportunities for faculty and students to engage in service and research and to find quality placements in internships and practica.

Through the Center for the Professional Development of Teachers, Learning Development Center, and Psychobiology Laboratory, The UT Tyler College of Education and Psychology provides additional research and service opportunities for students and for schools and agencies in the region.
