University education students enjoy working in the classroom.

The UT Tyler School of Education is an academic unit within the College of Education and Psychology and offers undergraduate programs leading to a bachelor of science in interdisciplinary studies in EC-6, 4-8 and EC-12 special education.

The school also offers coursework leading to secondary and all level teacher certification. Graduate programs lead to master’s degrees in the areas of curriculum and instruction, early childhood, reading and special education.

Education faculty members are dedicated to enriching the initial and continuing professional development of educators through teaching, scholarship, service and community outreach.
